position title: Supervisor
Reports to: Executive Director
Rate: $17.00/hr
Hour: 35 hr/week
Date: July 2 - August 30 (9 weeks)

Responsibilities:
The following will be worked on in conjunction with the Executive Director of Cuts For Kids, and departments within Cuts For Kids, and/or a Steering Table of partners:
Lead the delivery of all overall programs, departments, and activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of programs, departments, and activities, in coordination with the Executive Director.
Ensure that all costing adheres to the annual budget and operating plan to support all programs and departments.
Ensure that all programs, departments, and activities operate within the Policies and Procedures of the organization.
Develop forms and records to document all programs, departments, and activities.
Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the programs, departments, and activities for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policies of the organization.
In consultation with the Executive Director, recruit, interview and select well-qualified staff.
Ensure all employees receive orientation and appropriate training in accordance with Organizational Standards.
Supervise all employees by providing direction, input and feedback.
Communicate with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for all programs, departments, and activities and to solicit input for improvements to operations.
Liaise with all directors to ensure the effective and efficient program and department delivery.
Ensure that all programs, departments, and activities operate within the approved budget.
Identify and evaluate the risks associated with all programs, departments, and activities and take appropriate action to mitigate risk, in coordination with the Executive Director.
Report evaluation findings to the Executive Director and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate.
Liaise with all partners, agents and sponsors to ensure continued beneficial relations.
position title: MARKETING COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
The following will be worked on in conjunction with the Supervisor of Cuts For Kids, and departments within Cuts For Kids, and/or a Steering Table of partners:
Increase the overall visibility of the Cuts for Kids Foundation through social media and other promotional domains.
Develop and implement a social media and web strategy that supports the overall mission and goals of the organization including, but not limited to, the promotion of public events and regular posts to increase brand awareness.
Develop and publish visual identity guidelines and media kits.
Retain photographers to increase the photo and video library of the Cuts For Kids Foundation.
Develop digital designs in accordance with the Communications Work Plan.
Draft and prepare all advertising materials for Cuts for Kids Foundation haircutting and fundraising events.
Prepare media advisories and press releases in collaboration with other departments, and external organizations.
Adhere to the Annual Budget and Operating Plan for the Communications department.
Manage development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, e-newsletters, brochures, merchandise and websites.
Identify, create and manage all media opportunities for the organization, as well as ensuring that opportunities are fully vetted.

Responsibilities:
The following will be worked on in conjunction with the Supervisor of Cuts For Kids, and departments within Cuts For Kids, and/or a Steering Table of partners:
Plan the delivery of development activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the department.
Adhere to the Cuts for Kids annual budget and operating plan to support the department.
Ensure that program activities operate within the Policies and Procedures of the organization.
Develop forms and records to document department activities.
Prepare and master sponsor materials, proposals, contracts, and promotional agreements.
Conduct value assessment for sponsorship opportunities within the organization.
Arrange meetings and negotiate with prospective sponsors and partners, in coordination with the Executive Director.
Plan and execute events for fundraising purposes.
Identify, track, and apply to grant and funding opportunities.
Report on sponsorship delivery to sponsors.
Communicate with funders as outlined in funding agreements.
Liaise with other Cuts for Kids team members to ensure effective and efficient program delivery.
